We then use 3 layers of material to form the orthotics. The 1st layer assists with support and stability, the 2nd helps to evenly distribute weight from front to back and side to side, and the 3rd layer is a softer material that aides in reducing calluses and foot pain.
No. We are not a shoe store, but we do provide diabetic shoes. We provide catalogs from trusted providers where you can choose style and color. We will then order them and alert you when your shoes have arrived.
Any medical doctor (MD, DO, DPM) can sign a prescription for diabetic shoes and inserts. HOWEVER, all Medicare and Humana patients MUST meet a qualifying condition and get a Diabetic Verification Form signed by the physician that is treating your diabetes (must be an MD or DO).
